I can't believe that we have doctors that we do, so uncaring and then to be a child gi and still be like that, you know they take that oath, " first to do no harm " and what do they think they are doing when they treat us this way, I have oxycontin and vicoden for pain at home and they won't give you any for him??? I understand that he is a kid but he is also in pain.. I am sorry you are in my thoughts and prayers I wish I could help with the doctor like kick his butt...lol take care and give Cameron a hug and have him give you a hug and think of me hugging you.. And that the pediatrician won't prescribe meds (I DON'T understand doctors like that very well, makes me mad.) Can you push for an appt. with another GI pediatrician in the hopes you get a good one? Or maybe just a general GI who specializes in pancreas? Wish I knew someone in TX to refer you to. Tell Cameron I hope he's doing better.
