numb vulva and clit

Hi! Another thing that I sometimes notice is that my entire V will go kind of "numb." I can still climax, but it has to be very aggressive stimulation and it with great effort. I am not on any oral medications, only used a topical steroid for about 8 weeks recently. This seems to come and go. Anyone else have experience or thoughts on this? Thanks! Becky
