Guest guest Posted December 28, 2004 Report Share Posted December 28, 2004 Esther, for many years I asked for a few important numbers from my neph during our visits and kept track of them in a small notebook that I took with me to every visit. (I also wrote down my quesitons and their answers in this same notebook.) Now that I am keeping track of more things I get a copy of the results. I am a member of Kaiser so I can go to the business window at my local medical office when I get my procrit shots, sign a release and they give me a copy of my latest labs. It's really up to you if you want something on paper. I have always been fine with recording the numbers my neph gave me, it's only now that I want to log more lab data that getting a printout is easier. I'm gld that 's pain was nothing serious. I also had a lot of discomfort for weeks after my biopsy, sharp pains, pressure, twinges. A few days after biopsy I had back pain and my blood presure had dropped to 80/40 something. They were concerned I was bleeding internally, but thankfully it was nothing. Even though the BP didn't freak me out, since my norm at the time was 95/55, the doc still told me to go to the ER, better safe than sorry.
