Guest guest
I just joined the group. I am presently unemployed with no insurance - and between doctors, too - so I have no Synthroid left and haven't taken any meds for low thyroid for over two weeks now. In the welcome message I got it mentioned OTC natural thyroid. What is there that I can buy that will help my situation presently?
Guest guest
Although the over the counter thyroid med is a bit different with no guaranteed amounts of t3 or t4, there is a program for free synthroid if you are unemployed and have no insurance. http://thyroid.about.com/library/news/blfreesynthroid.htm Most of us take a product called Armour which is a prescription medicine with t3 and t3 made from pigs thyroid. Synthroid is a synthetic t4, but some thyroid med is better tan none. You should never stop the medication. That can cause serious medical issues. > >Reply-To: NaturalThyroidHormones >To: NaturalThyroidHormones >Subject: OTC Natural Meds >Date: Sat, 14 Aug 2004 20:24:29 -0000 >
Guest guest
It appears you can only apply if you have a doctor. > Although the over the counter thyroid med is a bit different with no > guaranteed amounts of t3 or t4, there is a program for free synthroid if you > are unemployed and have no insurance. > http://thyroid.about.com/library/news/blfreesynthroid.htm Most of us take > a product called Armour which is a prescription medicine with t3 and t3 > made from pigs thyroid.
