Guest guest
I looked into buying a treadmill (but decided not to at this time) and everyone I talked to said you said really go try them out (in person). That way you can see how wide the base is, how it feels when you are on it, and the size and weight of it. I don't know if you're doing that already, but I would suggest it. I went to several fitness specialty stores that sold high quality equipment (but not ALWAYS high cost) and they had some interesting things to say. I picked up brochures and then did some Internet investigation. It really depends on how you plan to use it. Are you only going to walk on it or do you plan to run on it, too? If running, you'll want to run on it before you buy it to see how stable it is. Plus, the motor size is very important...some treadmills have heavy-duty motors. Also, warranty...very important. The fitness equipment stores I looked at serviced (annual maintanence) the treadmills they sold for the life of the treadmill without cost. This probably wasn't very helpful. April > Hello. Guest guest
Hi , I have a Proform 860QT that I bought from Sears two years ago and love it. At the time it was on sale for around $700-800, can't remember exactly what the price was. The thing I really like about it, is that it is www.ifit.com compatable. I can either hook into their website or buy their cds and videos to use with it. They control the treadmill so I don't have to think about what I should do. Maureen Treadmill Hello.
