Guest guest
Hi-- I don't want to be discouraging as I know yeast arrest (boric acid) is really effective in treating yeast. That said, at this point for me I think it may have contributed to my current condition (constant burning and irritation). I had a yeast infection and was still having symptoms after using monistat and terconazole, so I moved on to yeast arrest which I had used in the past. It really burned me the whole time...and since now my theory is that I had some kind of allergic reaction to the topicals and probably didn't have an infection anymore, the boric acid just did a number on my skin. All I'm saying is be careful! As best as you can (cause I know cultures aren't 100% accurate) make sure you're dealing with an active yeast infection before you use those suppositories. If you continute to use them, you may want to try just coating the outer skin with a barrier of some kind, like vaseline or vitamin E oil, that will protect the sensitive outer skin from the boric acid. Good luck, > > It always burns a little bit the first day for me. Then it goes away. >
