Guest guest
Oh good to know! My hips and knees are a little cranky today. We did running and quad work today in aerobics so my legs were not happy with me (especially after the 4.5 mile bike ride this morning). However I think it was good for me to do some running to work out the kinks and get the blood flowing. I think my next goal is to do 100 days of running, straight. That won't mean long distances every day. Just at least half a mile per day. > Re: Woo! Guest guest
If you can't find that, there are some really good programs at www.beginnertriathlete.com. There is a couch potato to sprint training program that looks really good. One thing I do is I make a calendar for the month with my workouts on it. I know that seems a little crazy, but it helps me to see what's coming up in case I know I can't make a day. It doesn't mean I'm religious about it. For example, today was running but as I ran almost 6 miles yesterday I swapped for tomorrow so I'll run tomorrow and I biked to and from work today. Since it's on my computer I can reprint it when I lose it...which I do often. Here's my may Workout calendar: http://www.msteechur.com/training/index.html > Re: Woo! Guest guest
Well I'm thinking with the 100 day challenge I can just set a minimum of 1/2 mile so that I'm not overdoing it. I read in Runner's World about a guy who has run every day for the last...what was it? 25 years? Wow! I thought that sounded cool, so maybe I'll start in a few weeks on the 100 day. > Re: Woo!
