Guest guest
, I've been taking hydrocortisone 20mg since November, increased to 30mg a few weeks ago. I wonder if it is doing anything? Unfortunately I can't find a supplier who will ship delta to the UK. I could get genereric prednisone from Mexico but I don't know whether to trust it. Lynda Re: monitoring temperature Adrenals are not strong enough. My temp stayed at 97.1 for all the years I was on Armour (4 grains) until I started taking the delta...in two weeks, I stayed at a steady 98.6 for the first time in my life. Guest guest
Hi Tish, I am already taking adrenal support in the form of hydrocortisone, so would you suggest adding anything else? I know what you mean about adrenals and physical activity. If I do anything with the least bit of physical activity I start sweating. This will last for about an hour and then I go very, very cold and can't get warmed up again. Sound familiar? Lynda Re: monitoring temperature I am really familiar with this. I used to monitor my temps a lot when I first started thryoid and found that this happened commonly when adrenal gets low. I will be willing to bet if you take your temp after doing some activity, you will be shocked at how low it it will go.
Guest guest
my GP won't co-operate so I would have to pay for private testing. Can't afford it this month so it will have to wait until next month. Lynda Re: monitoring temperature Lynda, are you able to do labs for your free T3 and see where it is?? Guest guest
98.6 consistently....what a dream!!! The other day I spiked to 98.8 in the afternoon! I thought I must be ill for sure! LOL I usually average 98.0 +/- a few tenths. Never got sick, so maybe it was a sign that the ol' engine CAN still fire up!!!
