I've been taking hydrocortisone 20mg since November, increased to 30mg a few

weeks ago. I wonder if it is doing anything? Unfortunately I can't find a

supplier who will ship delta to the UK. I could get genereric prednisone from

Mexico but I don't know whether to trust it.

Re: monitoring temperature

Adrenals are not strong enough. My temp stayed at 97.1 for all the

years I was on Armour (4 grains) until I started taking the

delta...in two weeks, I stayed at a steady 98.6 for the first time in

my life.

Hi Tish,

I am already taking adrenal support in the form of hydrocortisone, so would you

suggest adding anything else?

I know what you mean about adrenals and physical activity. If I do anything

with the least bit of physical activity I start sweating. This will last for

about an hour and then I go very, very cold and can't get warmed up again.

Sound familiar?

Re: monitoring temperature

I am really familiar with this. I used to monitor my temps a lot

when I first started thryoid and found that this happened commonly

when adrenal gets low. I will be willing to bet if you take your

temp after doing some activity, you will be shocked at how low it it

will go.

my GP won't co-operate so I would have to pay for private testing. Can't

afford it this month so it will have to wait until next month.

Re: monitoring temperature

Lynda, are you able to do labs for your free T3 and see where it is??

98.6 consistently....what a dream!!! The other day I spiked to 98.8 in the

afternoon! I thought I must be ill for sure! LOL I usually average 98.0 +/- a

few tenths. Never got sick, so maybe it was a sign that the ol' engine CAN still

fire up!!!
