Guest guest
Hi, Mike: All antibiotics in this class should not be taken with calcium products, even (perhaps especially, if not really due to calcium content) milk. Wait three or four hours before taking the minocycline. With any chronic illness, it would be best to do elimination diets, but one of the first should be milk as so many people are intolerant to either or both lactose and casein. Next should be Gluten; gliadin from wheat is one of the most common allergens which can produce severe diseases even as a secondary effect: Celiac/sprue producing Psoriatic arthritis is the most common of these. Next is starches, the perfect bacterial substrate for bacteria which can cause arthritis (Klebsiella causes ankylosing spondylitis). Sugars feed Candida albicans, also, and this is an important LGS-maker and LGS is often implicated in arthritis. Suggest in season the Edgar Cayce Three Day Apple Diet: http://www.cayce.egympie.com.au/HealthAppleDiet.htm Prednisone requires some tapering procedure. MTX is a poison that can destroy your liver and it should never be required since the advent of the biological DMARDs. Celebrex has problems, also, but might be employed on a temporary basis. There are some good guidelines on the Mercola site: www.mercola.com Best Regards, rheumatic milk and minocin Should Carmen totally avoid milk and dairy products...?? as it stands now ...she takes her prednisone with a glass of milk..... than 1 hr later minocin with food when should wean off of the methotraxate...?? prednisone....?? celebrex....?? Taking Prednisone + Minocin + Methotrexate + Celebrex creates a tapestry of potentially serious complications which probably should be considered beyond the scope of the list.
