Guest guest
Week six of maintenance is now done. Last time I posted my WI, I believe I was 153.2.. Today I was 154.2... still within the guideline here, just....My goal weight was 155.. ummmm, does it look like I keep creeping up here!!!! Yikes, its not as easy as it sounds is it.. Today I bought the new QuikTrak Diary, don't know why though, a spur of the moment thing I guess. They are expensive little devils here too, $7.48.. I guess I just wanted to treat myself to something from the meeting and nothing else caught my eye. I also wanted some oatmeal & raisin bars, but they don't have them here anymore. I never did try them, and this was the first time I even asked about them..funny eh!! Tomorrow WW is closed for the Easter holiday and opens again on Saturday. So off to a better week I hope..I am kind of at the point of not putting as much into it, again stage. Anyway I am still happy to be where I am. Have a great weekend everyone!!!!..Kallie
Guest guest
>Week six of maintenance is now done. Yay, Kallie! That means Lifetime membership! Glad to hear that you made it! Yes, maintenance is a strange experience after spending so long in losing mode. I've been very lax about journaling on paper for the past few weeks. I do keep track of points, but haven't done a very good job of writing down what specifically I'm eating. That can lead to days that are within points, but not terribly healthy, so I need to get that back under control. I've been wiggling around about 2-3 pounds below goal, which is also 155, just like yours. I gain and lose the same half pound every other week, which feels weird after doing the losing phase for so long, but I guess that's what maintenance is supposed to look like. I'd like to take off another 5 or so to get my 75 pound magnet, and also to get a little more leeway for weigh ins. It was very cool to go to my meeting the other night and find my folder in the Lifetime box instead of in the regular box. (Hey, I'm easily amused, what can I say?) Keep up the good work, Kallie! Guest guest
Nope, it isn't as easy as it looks. I know I've been struggling lately...not with staying on plan, but with unexplained weight gain. I haven't changed how I eat, but I have changed how I exercise but it shouldn't tranlate into a GAIN! I'm also retaining water like a dam lately! I wake up in the morning and my fingers are sausages, but in the afternoon they're back to normal with my rings spinning around. That's completely opposite of what is SUPPOSED to happen. If I happen to step on the scale in the afternoon I see a weight LOSS, even though I've been eating. Bodies are strange. > update on maintenance > > > Week six of maintenance is now done. I've been lifetime for several months now, and really love being able to go to meetings and not have to pay. The option of only weighing in once a month is nice too, although I usually weigh more often, just to keep me honest. We just got back from vacation a week ago, and now that I am settling back into my regular routine, I want to push for my personal goal of 128. That may not be doable for me, but I'm going to give it a shot. Again, congratulations !! Terri in WI
