Guest guest
ah, another piece of the puzzle! Not only did it make me bloat but I started having hot flashes again (which previously I had successfully controlled with progesterone cream) I stopped taking the dhea more than a week ago but, despite increasing the pc, I am still having hot flashes. If so say that dhea can increase estrogen levels maybe Roxanna is experiencing symptoms of estrogen dominance some of which can be easily mistaken for thyroid symptoms Lynda (in the UK) DHEA can make you bloat (I changed the subject line to reflect the message below--it's a good clue as to why some folks may have strange bloating. Thanks Lynda, for sending this!! Janie p.s. DHEA can make your estrogen levels too high, which can result in bloating)

Guest guest
That's another reason I do not take it near ovulation....like I need more estrogen dominance then! I Roxanna V. Guest guest
I agree that that could be true....except that during the last week I have been taking pregnenolone....just for the very reason of not wanting to exacerbate estrogen dominance during high estrogen times. A little background......I had tried for month and months to decrease what I thought were estrogen dominance symptoms with progesterone cream....never did much. It wasn't until those first few weeks on Armour/hc that the alleged estrogen dominance symptoms went away. I believe I still do need progesterone cream because of my age and faulty ovulation, but ED has been the least of my problems..... Men must have it easier, yes? Roxanna Roxanna V.
