Guest guest
Thanks jolene -- Re: Update on me Carol, So very sorry to hear of your News, I will be praying and sending much love your way, for the new medication to work for you. Hugs and Take Care of You, Jolene Update on me Hi everyone, time for an update on me. Went to doctor and got my results from CT scan. Not good news. My tumor has started growing again. He put me on Xeloda. Is anyone out here on That particular chemo pill??? I have yet to start it because I have to wait for payday. But was just wondering how anyone tolerated it. I have to take five 500mg pills in the morning then I have to take 2-500mg and 2-150mg at night for 14 days with one week off then start again. I am suppose to go to s. Carolina in July for my son n laws graduation from boot camp. I pray I am up for the trip. Can't afford to fly so my daughter and I are going to drive it. Its going to be probably a 20 hr drive from my house. My daughter lives 5 hrs south of me. Any info would be appreciated. Guest guest
Thanks Andree -- Re: Update on me My tumor has started growing again. He put me on Xeloda. Is anyone out here on That particular chemo pill I will ask my friend Suzette if she has taken that. She has been taking different meds since her BC came back 20+ years ago. She has cancer around the periphery of where her breasts used to be. It is too close to the lungs to radiate so she takes all kinds of chemo or pills to keep it from spreading elsewhere. Nothing stops her it seems- right now she is in Italy teaching and will be back in a couple of weeks. She is bald again and has the chemo cough right now; She went to Italy anyway to teach of course! She is such an inspiration to me and everyone that knows her as her joy and appreciation for life is contagious. Guest guest
Thanks ren. I have been hanging in there now for almost 12 yrs. It gets very trying at times but I will never give up, I have too much to live for and besides I am too dam young(45) to give up! -- Re: Update on me Carol; Keep hanging in there. I go to the doctor today, I have had some pain in my left chest area. I am not sure what it is, I can't feel it because of the radiated area being so hard, but I can fee the pain from it. We have to just keep on going. Ren
Guest guest
I'm sorry you're back in the battle again, Carol. Xeloda is a chemo pill I know nothing about; I had CMFP. Will keep you in my prayers, especially for an easy trip to North Carolina. I hope you can stop overnight to rest along the way. hugs, Nan > > Hi everyone, time for an update on me. > Went to doctor and got my results from CT scan.
