Guest guest
I agree that it should not be taken without a hormone test. I took a test and tested low DHEA and testosterone. I started taking DHEA and testosterone..no bad side affects.WELL, one week I over did it with the Testosterone..put on too much cream..more than I was supposed too and I was filled with anxiety, was getting angry all week..my breast ached..it screwed me up!!! SO if you have normal testosterone and take DHEA which produces testosterone, you could give yourself too much testosterone and have negative side affects.Be Careful and take the test first!!! Guest guest
Good advice, did your gynocologist give you that test? Since my doctor took my blood test while I was already taking those supplements, I gues I don't really know what my true hormone levels are. I would love to know. Guest guest
PS - I took those supplements only for about 3 months before stopping them. But, during that time I really didn't notice much of a change at all except I did notice that my breasts seemed slightly larger... or maybe I was imagining it? Guest guest
When I started using DHEA and testosterone, my bleeding lightened up. Before that I was having HEAVY periods with clotting. UGH
Guest guest
Hi: I used DHEA for probably less then two weeks and started bleeding. No breast tenderness, but bleeding. I wanted to up my libido also, but didn't want to keep bleeding so I stopped. I was taking 25mg. Guest guest
HI SHerri, so when you stopped the DHEA did the bleeding stop as well and all was fine after that? I'm hoping so. Guest guest
HI (blueeberri).... Isn't that interesting, with you using the DHEA & T... and it 'lightened' up your bleeding. I think it can be useful to 'balance' our hormones but too much or not enough shows how differently it can affect all of us and it takes a delicate touch just as adjusting our hormones do, I'm so glad it helped you hon.
