Guest guest
I’m glad you decided to chime in, Kym…you’re never too new to have (and be allowed to express) an opinion in here! : - ) - Lesa - Re: GET OVER IT I was afraid to respond to the post about this not being the place to talk about a party for adult orientated material because I am new and didnt want to get anyone mad at me... but I changed my mind. I understand that some people might be uncomfortable with sexuality. But some might be offended by talk of poop too. Both are natural human fuctions. If we cant speak freely then what is the point of this group? If you dont like it, just hit delete and go on to the next post. I for one would think alot of women and men would love to buy lingerie or adult products to celebrate their new bodies. I know I would feel a bit more sexy. I actually know a lady that had never been intimate because of her weight and her feelings about her body. She had WLS and she loves her new body and is now engaged... she is 42 years old. Just my opinion. Kym
Guest guest
HI Martha and everyone else, The reason for my response to the email was not so much as to the subject but as to the fact that to me it seemed that the person was looking to sell something. You all may think what you may but that was the only concern that I had I look at our home page and it does state there about not using the group site to get clients. 2. NO advertising, soliciting, or looking for customers. However, all members are encouraged to discuss their experiences (pro and con) with a particular program and/or a particular product. From what I understood about those type of parties it is also so that you will be purchasing from the person who is giving this party. This was my only concern. After reading a few of the emails that people have sent in regard to my email I am considering leaving the group. I don't know what the original email said because I never saw it but I guess we interpret the rules to fit our own needs. I don't believe that I was being a prude or what every you may think. Nor are there any hurt feelings about the feedback As moderator I take my job seriously for the better of the group. Ramona
Guest guest
I agree with you, Ramona. Not the subject, but the solicitation. I, for one, think you are doing a great job. Laurie W.
