But after talking with my 2 support people, one of which had the surgery in July, I felt 100% better, very motivated and excited. I'm ready for this life change, I'm ready to be healthy. I'm on my 10% weight loss journey now. I would like to know for those of you who have used the Richmond facility how long did it take you to get your surgery date after your 10% weight loss.Von
Guest guest
Hi Von, On Nov. 21, '03, I weighed in at Richmond and was surprised to find that I'd reached my pre-surgery goal. I was then swept off immediately to see the case manager, who scheduled my surgery for Dec. 1 - just ten days away. She then facilitated my getting all the appointments that I needed before surgery - which was a challenge since the long Thanksgiving weekend was in that 10 days. What a whirlwind! I know that my experience was not typical - I just lucked into a cancellation. If I hadn't taken that surgery date, the next available one was about 6 weeks later. I also think that things are taking a bit longer nowadays. Hope all goes as smoothly for you. All the best, Kay in San Leandro open RNY 12/1/03 yumugginsls wrote: > Yesterday I had my orientation in Richmond. I must say it was quite > informative. Dr. Fisher gave the presentation.
