Wowsalsa Support Group in Sacramento

The group is very large - about 100 people, I'd say. In that regard, sometimes it is difficult. And to make things worse, the hospital will only provide 60 chairs, saying it is a violation of the fire code to have more chairs than that in the room (although there is plenty of floor space). Personally, I just get there early to get a chair. Lots of people sit on the floor (which certainly is more of a fire danger than a few extra chairs!) Sigh....

Anyway, it is well worth attending, no matter what inconveniences there are.

A group of 10 or 15 usually meets for lunch at noon before the meeting in a local restaurant, and they post that information on the Wowsalsa yahoogroup. So I get the benefit of a "small discussion group" first, then go to the larger group with everyone else. As a pre-op and new post-op, it was particularly interesting to go to lunch with the smaller group and see what they were eating, how much, etc etc

The Point West group, to my recollection, is large also, but they do break into smaller discussion groups (or at least they did, when I went).

More than you wanted to know, eh? LOLOL

So what brings you to Sacramento?
