Stay calm . What you are experiencing is common from what I've read. The hair loss is temporary due to the changes in your body and I believe a lack of protein. The weight loss plateau is also common as your body adjusts. I'm sure some of the board members will be relating their own experiences to you that will give you some comfort. Hang in there and stay on the program and it will all work out.

Hi Jeni,

I am . When your body goes through a trauma of any kind

it is normal for your hair to fall out. As far as the weight we are

all different and so we will lose weight at different times and

amounts and from different area's of the body.

Were you given a diet and are you following your post surgical

routine. These are very important along with water. Water is used to

not only hydrate the body but in the very important chemical reaction

that uses water to break down Fats. Without proper hydration then

weight loss could also slow down related to this. Other people here

may have more information as well. I hope this helps a little. Love
