Welcome aboard , though sorry you had to be here.

For recipes for kids and grownups, try the pecanbread site. There's

lots of intro stuff there:

http://www.pecanbread.com/new/recipes1.html

While you are there - consult the entire site, all the menu settings,

as it is very informative for beginners.

Good luck with your son.

The trick with kids is that they want what other kids are eating, and

they want what they like. I found that making dishes appear very

similar to what they are used to and like is helpful, and there are

some things all kids like - like ice cream pops (ie. yogurt pops),

chicken nuggets, etc. Pecanbread has tons of recipes that are good for

this - turn anything into a cupcake by baking it that way.

It takes more of a mental adjustment for kids (young and older), so try

to make almost anything into a treat. I'm sharing some of my recipes

that my kids really like (and sometimes love) at www.comfybelly.com.

Best,
