Guest guest
Hi there, You should be able to go to the support group at Point West near the Expo. I live in Sac and work in Rocklin (one of my jobs anyway--I work full time in West Sac). L.fourgirls4gk wrote: Hi Everyone,Thank you so much for such a warm welcome. It is very encouraging to be able to hear from others going through this process. I live in Rocklin (near Sacramento/Roseville) and there is not a support group in this area yet.I have started exercising. My daughter and I work out in the weight room 3-4 times a week. I bought a pedometer and use it to monitor how much I walk each day. I started at 1,500 steps per day and now have worked my way up to 4,000.Thanks again for your encouragement. Guest guest
Welcome, fourgirls4gk (what's your first name?), You might want to try the Wowsalsa support group meeting. It's not specifically for Kaiser patients, but it is a great meeting. Meets on the second Saturday of each month, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Sutter Roseville. Guest speakers and a clothing exchange. Lots of good people. You'll like it. If you want to check out their online support group, go to yahoogroups and do a search for "Wowsalsa" -- then sign up for the group. You have to live in Sacramento or that area to join, but you obviously meet the qualifications. Laurie W. Thanks for the great welcome! Hi Everyone,Thank you so much for such a warm welcome. It is very encouraging to be able to hear from others going through this process. I live in Rocklin (near Sacramento/Roseville) and there is not a support group in this area yet. <SNIP>
