Guest guest
Hello all, I've been reading for a while... this is my first post. I want to give thanks to kimmarose and Ethel for giving me renewed hope that I'm still on the " road back'. I've been on minocycline (wyeth) for 18 months (m,w,f 2x100mg), and other than the nodules disappearing from my elbow, I can't say there's been any sign of it working. In July, I paid a visit to the radon mine in Boulder, Montana after reading about it's beneficial effects for RA. (www.radonmine.com) My meds were working very well, so I decided to cut back on the MTX and Prednisone, in order to see if the radon helped. I have been flared for going on 2 months now, and it seems to be getting worse. I'm reluctantly thinking about going back to the full dose of MTX (25mg/week). But it helps to believe there is an end in sight.
