Hi Satya,

That is very good advise! For those of you not yet " officially " diagnosed,

it is a very good idea to make sure that you get life and disability insurance

prior to having your kidney disease advance.

It can prove very important later on.

Didnt see your message. I replied to Aruna's question re: Life

Insurance directly on the other thread. And, I forgot to explicitly

mention Disability Insurance- good catch!

It's very important to get insurance while you can, when you are young.

Having been diagnosed with blood and/or protein in the urine WILL definitely

make it virtually impossible to get life insurance in the future, and it

might make it hard to get disability insurance as well.

If you are reading this, you probably have already been diagnosed and it may

be too late. In that case, whatever you do, hang on to whatever life and

disability insurance policies you might already have, such as through your

work or a spouse's work.

You might never reach the point of end-stage renal failure, but if you ever

do, firstly, due to various factors, your risk of death will be higher than

average, and secondly, you will greatly appreciate having good disability

insurance!

Hi Tara,

I hope your trip goes well and I will pray you get good news for your

daughter. You will have your hands full with three children, but hopefully

combining

it as a birthday trip will add some fun too.

Praying for you! Have a safe trip!
