I used the same basic recipe but with Betty Crocker Super Moist Devil's Food Cake Mix - - *it has more points than the yellow*.....

For instance, one pumpkin chip muffin with the Super Moist Yellow Cake Mix is equal to 2.7 points per muffin with 24 muffins made from the recipe

Using the Super Moist Devil's Food Cake Mix, the points for one muffin = 3.5 points

with 24 muffins made from the recipe.

Hey gang!

I made the pumpkin muffins over the weekend. I tried a new twist and used a

carrot cake mix instead of the spice mix. Delicious!!!!

When I compared the nutrition label, the points did not change between the two

different flavors, however, Betty Crocker Super Moist carrot cake mix has more

nutrition than the other mixes. It has soy flour in it so it has more niacin,

folic acid, and B vitamins. Also slightly higher in protein. Hmmm, more bang

for the buck!

Anyway, I know we are all trying to eat healthier foods and I thought I would

pass this along!
