Guest guest
Jeff and Group, I got a call back from Stiefel in Canada regarding their brand name Minocin. Stiefel purchased manufacturing rights for Minocin from Wyeth / Lederle in 2005. Brand name Minocin is now being manufactured in Montreal using the identical process formerly used by Lederle, and the Minocin is pelleted. Minocin by Stiefel and Lederle is IDENTICAL, except that the Stiefel's capsules are now being imprinted with " Stiefel. " Sincerely, Harald My earlier email this morning: Jeff, I would take my chance with Minocin by Stiefel in Canada. I spoke with Glen, the pharmacist of RxCareCanada.com, 1-800-381-3594. He stated that the capsules are Orange and Purple. The contents are pelleted, the tell-tale sign of brand name Minocin. The capsules are imprinted with " Lederle M4. " Lederle was the original developer of Minocin, later merged into Wyeth. One hundred 100 mg capsules cost $147.01. See http://rxcarecanada.com/Minocycline.asp?prodid=2256 There may be lower cost suppliers of Minocin by Stiefel in Canada. I am maintaining a web page with feedback from our group on results with generic minocycline by different manufacturers. I would be willing to take my chance on TEVA and . Please see http://www.tmgp.com/generic-mino.htm Sincerely, Harald
