Mitch,

I think they *are* healthier, at least by taking a look at their ingredients.

They include things like sea salt, and fruit juices to sweeten instead of so

much sugar or artificial sweeteners. Since the one I chose was the same 2.0

points as the Quaker ones, I was happy to find them! I will definitely try

the other things you mentioned. I try very hard to limit all snacks to 2 points

or less.

Does anyone use any of the Health Valley products? I've

been using the Granola Bars for months and I love them

(1 1/2 or 2 points depending on which kind). I also love

the tarts (particularly the Blueberry & the Chocolate - 2 1/2

points each).

Now, I just discovered the Old-Fashioned Cookies - 3 cookies

for 2 points and they're absolutely delicious.

Good morning Bette. Yes the Peanut Crunch are great - so are the chocolate

chip, the blueberry and the wild berry .... the chocolate and blueberry

tarts are

more of a flaky treat - and delicious too ... and those cookies -um,um.

I haven't really

compared the ingredients with brands like Quaker (which are good too), but

the fact that the Health Valley is found in the " Natural Foods " section

at my

supermarket makes me at least think that their healthier :-)

They make a ff chocolate chip and a raisin oatmeal cookie that I really

like. They are small cookies but they are 3 or 4 for 1 point.
