Tonia,

That's great!! I hope it will help you. I will be getting new leads put in as soon as I go see the vascular doctor and they can get it scheduled. They will cover both legs since it has spread into it.

Love,

Well, I had my Doctor's appointment today...and I asked my Pain Doc about an SCS. He said that I would be a good canidate for the trial, and since he no longer does them himself, he is sending me to the University of Nebraska Hospital to a Doctor he personally knows that does them.

Tonia,

Alright!! I hope you can get in soon, so that you can get the trial done. Legacy is sending me to a psychiatrist too. They want an independent evaluation on how depressed I am I guess LOL. They are also sending me to a doctor here who consider himself the only RSd expert, Sandi, you know who he is his last name begins with an O. I read up on him before and found this rebuttal of an editorial that he had written. This rebuttal was from another doctor whose final sentence was you need to go to a convention and see all the RSD patients then maybe you will change your old way of thinking, so this should be an interesting visits.

Anyway back to you I hope you can get back in to your psych doc.

I hope your evening was a low pain day.

Good Evening, It's 11 PM here in Monroe, Louisiana. I have a SCS and went through the Psychological Evaluations, temporary stimulator, etc. Everyone made me feel like I was crazy and my family not very supportive. I did have it permanently implanted March 15th and it has helped the RSD pain in my legs. I am only having to adjust to the implant in the spinal area and the left side of my upper cheek. (there's no other way to describe it). I still have pain but the stimulator is wonderful for me. Good Luck, if you have any questions feel free to write me. ducote55@... PS I still go to the pain doctor, the psychologist for pain management relaxation therapy, etc. but I am doing better and I have no regrets. Schlosser wrote:

Lin,

Good luck with this appointment. Is this the insurance company sending you?

When do you go?

Don't let him stick you with saftey pins or do anything to cause another flare, you have the right to refuse to allow him to touch any area that is painful if you think it will increase the pain.

Take care, thinking of you!

Hoping for Pain Free Days!Sandi
