Guest guest
, I'm glad you're out - but worried about you. What caused the recent incarceration? You take it slow and feel better. Merry Christmas! Cy Merry Christmas > > I wanted to wish all of our members a very Merry Christmas! I know this group is one of the biggest gifts in my life, and a reminder that the greatest gifts are not the packages that are unwrapped but things like friends and family, and being thankful for the health we do have. > > I just got released from the hospital, so I am behind on emails but I will try to get caught up. Being stuck in the hospital is not the way I would have choosen to spend Christmas Eve or Christmas morning, but I am grateful I got released before the end of Christmas. I am still pretty sick so I may be quiet for a few more days, but I will be checking in as energy allows. > > Merry Christmas all! > > > > > > To edit your settings for the group, go to our Yahoo Group > home page: > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/iga-nephropathy/ > > To unsubcribe via email, > iga-nephropathy-unsubscribe > Visit our companion website at www.igan.ca. Guest guest
Thanks Cy. I don't know what caused me to spiral down so fast this week. I just could not keep anything down for several days and that led to severe dehydration and of course caused the kidney function to go haywire too so when I went to the doctors to get something to help with the nausea, they decided I could not leave. At least they let me out so I could be home today though. I still cannot keep any food down, but I have been able to drink tea and Sprite so I am making progress. I am determined to not go back in the hospital. Somehow, even with my restricted diet I thought Christmas dinner would be something nicer than an IV :-) We did cancel the family dinner and I have stayed in bed today sleeping off and on. Hopefully I will be able to eat by tomorrow. In a message dated 12/25/2004 4:49:40 PM Eastern Standard Time, " Cy Webb " writes: > >, >I'm glad you're out - but worried about you. Guest guest
Oh no ... Do you have any sense whether this a GI bug or a renal failure thing? There's a nasty, nasty GI bug going around Palo Alto - and if this is what it is, you're not in good shape for it. As much as it did a number on your holiday, I'm glad the docs kept you. Since the tea and Sprite stayed put, let's hope it's the stomach bug... and that it is over, over, over. How much you must hate being sick with the girls in town! I'm hope you are on your feet tomorrow. Cy Merry Christmas > > > > > >> > >> I wanted to wish all of our members a very Merry Christmas!
