What you are describing is NOT in your head.

You should really see a back specialist... someone who can do an MRI, etc. on your lower back. You may have something compressing nerves, causing you to lose feeling.

I am really surprised that no one in the ER thought that you might have some type of spinal problem.

If I recall properly, you are in Southern NJ? Maybe someone down there could recommend someone for you.

Sam - Please feel free to vent. Did they say anything about the CTscan results? Sounds like you ought to be seeing a real neurosurgeon or, at the very least, back to whomever you see for pain management. I'm very sorry that you're have such a rough time. Barbara

sam dont give up seek another dr, sounds to me as a nerve in the spine being pinch as you turn certains ways. Thats whats wrong with my daughter. Her disk started bulging out to the spine instead of out away from the spine. And she lost funtion too. So your not alone. Not sure what a OT is but what could you possably gain by losing functions. Ignore ignorance. And tell her one day you may need me to believe you and guess what i will be there waiting for u. I wont treat you as if your crazy. tell her you need her to support you not begrade u.she will feel guilty. If not then you dont need to explain to her whats your going threw.

Hi All.I've been told that I don't really have RSD. But i don't have any where to turn, and I kind of need to vent. I just got back from the Hospitable ER because I lost feeling on my low back and soiled my self. After doing a Cat-scan and being checked out by a neurosurgeon, the feeling came back, So i was sent home. Now my Sister was telling me that I need to get some head help from a shrink (LOL)((oh shes a OT) Right now I'm sitting here writing this with my right leg in pain, low back in pain, knee in pain. soiled my self for the first time since I was 2 years old.
