I started with a cough on Saturday which I thought was from being around the cats at my son's house last week and Jim had a cold. The next day as it turns out, I woke up so sick I didn't know what was going on. Someone called to change a doctor's appt. and I thought that Debbie (the nurse) shouldn't be at work. I meekly asked her what day it was and she told me it was Monday. I was coughing and coughing and running high temps...My temp even went as high as 103 that I recorded.and since my usual normal temp runs low at about 96, it's no wonder that I was hallucianating. I called to my internist and got an appt. She listened to my lungs and took temps, etc. and wanted to put me in the hospital right then. I begged to stay home. She prescribed a once/day Avelox antibiotic plus refills for my neulizers, cought meds. and to check back after the x-ray was read. I put it off until today because I had an appt. for a brain scan but was unable to do that because I could lie in the tube and not cough. I had already had an EMG, an EEG, this week for another doctore so I've been punched enough. Anyway the chest exrays came back that I have pnuemonia. I figured it was bronchitis because I have had so that so many times. Just want every one to know where I am and to pray for a complete reccovery. I KNOW you and I know you aren't going to lie around being lazy and getting better! Where is dear Jim at this time?? You know you have to take care of yourself and sometimes the best way to do that is to turn it over to someone else for a while! Call the doc again! A Bit of Update!
