He does not want us to drink protien shakes especially the first 3 months althought he did say i could have one a day at that time. He's done about 3600 of these operations ( and only the RNY proximal) he also had the surgery himself as did his wife and most of his staff. By the way I can eat alot also, but not as much as I use to I started out at 237 in may 2002 I am down to 165, and I was pretty bad around the holidays. I Had my surgery in Fort Lauderdale, and even though my surgeon has a great after care program. ( everything from how to dress for success to writing resumes, to how to deal with head hunger) It is so far away I never get there.
