Guest guest
Your right Galen just humid right now. Its so calm out not even a sign of wind. kinda like the calm before the storm.............People are heeding the warning about leaving the beach but there is always those that will try to ride it out. Very foolish on their part. The water surge in Tampa Bay will be either 11 to 13 feet that will cover most of the bridges and the Sunshine skyway will close shortly...........................Doug made it home from Miami so I'm feeling better knowing he is home. OK we're ready as we can be wish us luck its due here around late afternoon.........................Flora
Guest guest
Humid this morning, but not much wind. The hurricane is about 175 miles south of Tampa Bay right now, and even Tampa isn't feeling anything yet, according to the TV. There isn't much to do right now except wait. It seems that Key West escaped the brunt of it, however. -- Galen Hekhuis NpD, JFR, GWA ghekhuis@... Guest guest
I just saw on the local news that Charley may actually make landfall a little *south* of Tampa. If so, you would escape the eastern part, which is supposed to be the worst. I guess we'll know for sure when it happens. Good luck. >Your right Galen just humid right now.
