Guest guest
- Its very hard to stand back and watch your grown children make mistakes, but I totally agree with you. When it involves little children its a different story. Keep encouraging them in any way to get Connor the help he needs, its best dealt with in the first stages and not years later. I'll be Praying for your family as you go through these rough times. Hugs,
Guest guest
I have to be careful about prodding - a few years ago I was a "manipulative bitch". We walk a thin line here. Keep on them about Connor! Even adults need prodding. Guest guest
Obviously hasn't read the info on early exposure to pets decreasing the chances of childhooe asthma, LOL. All you can do is make your opinion known and step back. Hugs, Kathy Amy update Today was good! To sum it up, has been supposed to help with babysitting now that Amy has a temp job. Every time, something comes up that makes it more convenient for Amy's in-laws to babysit; they don't trust alone with the kids because of his CAD, & (MIL) is afraid pet hair will contaminate anyone who is near an animal. Cate will be 2 on Sun, & today is the first time she has been to our house (2nd time for Connor). Amy wants her dad to spend time with the kids, but she is trying so hard to avoid confrontation that she just goes along with whatever the current "reason" is for to have the kids. Today there was no preschool for Connor, so had both children. He brought them here so he could walk the dogs, & they were having so much fun that they chose to eat lunch here instead of at Burger King. I figure Amy finally found what she needed to stand up for what she thinks. Bad news is that Connor is having problems, & Amy & plan to wait until summer is over to see if he "can work it out on his own". Without seeming bossy, we are encouraging them to consult their pediatrician or a psychologist now. We try very hard to stand back & let them make their own decisions, & mistakes, but when our grandchildren will be the ones paying for the mistakes, we do make suggestions. Thanks for the support. Please keep all of us in your thoughts & prayers. I hope that today is the beginning of a better situation. Guest guest
Still looking good here. had Cate again yesterday & they had a great day! Of course, Grandpa was tired last night. When I called at lunch, I could hear the squeals & barking - Cate & were outside with the 2 big dogs. Connor had a good day at preschool yesterday; got the report from his teacher when he picked him up. Thanks for the thoughts & prayers - & please don't stop. Hugs, -- Re: Amy update , I'm with you. I would have to make suggestions too. I hope it all can be worked out though. Meddling in-laws (not you) have to be irritating. I'm lucky, my MIL is wonderful! You and yours are in my thoughts and prayers x0x0 I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory. -------Original Message------- From: autoimmune-ills ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
