She fights, cusses, and pushes my Sister. The last time my Sis tried to help her she suffered a mild stroke. I am so very scared that all of this is going to really hurt my Sis. One time I witnessed how she can be, and honestly I thought she was the Devil the way she was acting. She has been put into treatment facilities, but she just runs away. I am asking for prayers for my neice and my Sis, they really need them right now. Thank you for letting me vent, Sandy
Guest guest
Hi Sandy, Fervent prayer is the only thing that will help this young woman. Your sister has to look out for herself and the rest of her family. In reality bringing her home with no plan will be detrimental to your sister. If your niece does not sign herself into a professional addiction center it would not be wise for your sister to keep bailing her out, so-to-speak. Sometimes even if it's hard " tough love " is the best way to go. Your niece has to want to help herself and enabling her to come around and get-over will only make it worse. I'm sorry to sound so harsh, I don't mean too. But I've seen even in my own family how this tough love has worked out for the best. I'm sorry for your sister's trouble and I will fervently pray for your niece. By the way, what is her name? God Bless Yolanda Need your prayers (OT) To make a very long story short. Guest guest
Thank you all for praying for our family. I just called my sisters cell phone to see if they were home yet. My neice has warrants for her arrest here in Oregon for numerous things, there not for any felonies or anything like that. I told my Sis that as soon as they got to town that she needed to go straight to the jail with her to see if they will hold her there or not, because if the authorities found out that she was staying at my Sis's home that she could get into trouble her self. So now I have to sit and wait and see what happens next. By the way Yolanda my sisters name is Dianne Hice, and my neices name is Tiesha (sounds like Teesha) Hice. I do beleive that Tiesha needs to hit rock bottom and that she needs to want the help to get over this. Yolanda I dont think your words are harsh at all. The only problem with getting her into a rehab facility is that she has ran from 2 of them already. We dont have the money to put her into one and her millionaire jerk of a father wont help. I'm sorry I sound so harsh at her father but when I was around 13 he molested me. I dont think the Oregon health plan covers rehab anymore. I guess we will have to see what the courts say and do. Again thank you for the prayers, Love to all, Sandy Need your prayers (OT) To make a very long story short. Guest guest
Yes, you are right about your sister checking in with the courts in Oregon. They have many good Christian facility's that don't charge. What they do is put her on medicaid and that's how they get their pay. They also need her arrest records. I know they contact the parole officers or whoever is in charge to make sure that they are aware of her whereabouts. I'm sorry to hear of your encounter with her father. He will have to answer to a higher power for what he did. I will keep Dianne and Tiesha in prayer. I know the Lord has the answer.
