Guest guest
The diabetic clinic told me to use AVEENO soap and lotion for dry skin. I have it bad too. Janet
Guest guest
I'll have to look for that kind of soap. Part of my problem may also be I take a shower every day. That probably makes it worse. Thanks for the comments. Ken GreyEagle -- Re: Skin Problems DRY The diabetic clinic told me to use AVEENO soap and lotion for dry skin. I have it bad too. Guest guest
We're having our first real cold snap this last couple of days and I'm finding my usual dry winter skin is about three times as bad. My feet are so dry they hurt and they just suck in every drop of lotion I put on them (twice a day at the moment). The whole bridge of my nose is dry and flaky and hurts. And the scalp? I thought I got the winter flakies bad before? Oh no... that was mild in comparison. This bites! Aazari The Art of Jolie E. Guest guest
I got some cocanut oil to experiment with eating. I didn't find it as beneficial as oily-type fish for providing dietary oil. However, I did find that it works very well for dry skin on the hands. I would rub it into my hands while warming them over the kitchen stove. I would do this at night just before going to bed. Dry skin may be a symptom of dehydration so you may want to find something to help improve that too. All the best, Jim
