nne,

If there is not too much text and your hands allow it, any chance that you

could type out and email to us the Mayo Clinic Medical Encyclopedia section

that deals with Minocin for RA? This will be additional ammunition for

group members who have had trouble convincing their doctors that Minocin is

a legitimate treatment for RA.

The effect of damp and cold weather on RA is well known. When my RA was at

its worst, I could predict rain better than the weatherman. My personal

opinion is that RA, like sinus pain, is aggravated by dropping atmospheric

pressure, which causes fluids to be exuded from porous cavities in bones

structures.

Sincerely, Harald

Hang in there, girl! I can probably speak for 99% of the group members when

I say we all suffered in cold, wet weather and I suffered in hot sun (and

still have problems, if my hand joints are swollen at all), because I have

pseudogout in my joints and they burn!!

However, I am in almost full remission now and my life has changed

DRASTICALLY-so keep going on the AP, I predict a turning point soon.:)

Hi nne,

Could u please share that reference to me? e.g. doc or Web site, etc.

I am interesting in how to cure RA. By the way, I just heard that it has new

research and wide acceppted by a lot of rheumatologist that the new medical

is work well to cute RA. You could try to find those information.

The new medicine name " Enbrel " and " Remecade " . You may found some

interesting from it. I was not RA yet but I feel my symptom is look alike if

you don't mind could you share your early symptom. I did not swallen, red,

pain or stiffness at the morning but I feel like ant bites my hands, knees,

elbows, and ankles. I don't know what happen. RF is negative and ESR is 17.

I am looking forward to your advise.

One thing, to stay in Bangkok, Thailand may be good for you. The temperature

here is 25-30 Celcius.

Best regards

Ake

Roseanne,

Perhaps this has already been mentioned, but I'm thinking you might consider

the possibility that you are herxing instead of reacting to the weather. If

you're taking the minocin twice a day you might have to consider backing off a

little.
