I was watching a tv program this week about " Celebrity Cooking " . The meal

prepared was " A Beer in my Steer " which was a sirloin tip roast cooked in a beer

and other herbs/spices. She also prepared a salad and made a dressing. The

dressing is wonderful. I made it last night.

She was talking about how she and her hubby eat. They raise their own

veggies. They hunt for deer, quail. She said that she also eats beef but it is

the

grain fed.

I know all of us are not fortunate enough to have a garden space, but we can

buy the best veggies we can afford. Some of you do not hunt or even eat meat.

Again, you purchase food that is healthy and good for you.

This lady stated that she and her hubby went to their doctor for physicals

recently and the doctor wanted to know what they ate because both of them had

almost perfect cholesterol levels. Her dad died of a heart attack. She is in

her 50's, but looks much younger and really looked healthy.

If anyone wants the recipe for the beef roast and/or salad let me know.

Eunice,

I would really like to try both the roast beef and the salad if you could

provide the recipes. Thanks.
