Guest guest
Yeah, what the others said. I wouldn't use these as a substatute for food but only as a crunchy snack and have only a few at that. I'm not sure how far out you are or how much protien you are expected to have but I think after a few weeks it's not so hard to eat your way there. I had bought some soy protien tortilla type chips nacho cheese flavor from Trader Joes and they are nice and crunchy. But, after eating 2 it's kinda nasty. If I can help, just ask Protein Chips Hi everyone! I have a quick question that would normally go to my dietician but she is at a conference this week and i can't get in touch with her on call replacement. I am not getting as much protein in my diet as she recommended b/c i can't stand the protein drinks. So i was at the health food store today and found something called Protein Chips. I'm still learning this whole reading the label thing so I was hoping someone can help me out with it and tell me if it's a good idea to have these along with some protein drinks so i can get the suggested amount of protein. So here is the Nutrition Facts: Serving Size is about 30 chips Serving Size per container is 5.5 Calories = 110 Calories from fat = 20 Total fat = 2.5g Total Carbs = 14g Dietary Figer = 3g Sugar = 1g Protein 10g What do you guys think?? _____
Guest guest
I have found that the pork rinds, or some call it pork skins are a crunchy treat that is high in protein ( I don't have a bag here to tell you how much) and a serving is like 7-9 pieces. They are tasty by themselvs or with something on them, like egg salad or tuna even salsa if you dare. Which brings me to a question. Is it ok to eat spicy food, if so when would be a good time to try? Thanks Stef Protein Chips Hi everyone! Guest guest
Actually the chips are very small, probably the size of a Cheese Nip, but you're right I can't even eat 5 much less 30. > I have found that the pork rinds, or some call it pork skins are a crunchy treat that is high in protein ( I don't have a bag here to tell you how much) and a serving is like 7-9 pieces.
