Guest guest
Sandy So glad they're getting you in. My arm used to be warmer than the other one, now it's approx 12-15 degrees colder. In a message dated 6/15/2004 1:24:10 AM Eastern Standard Time, RSD-CRPSofAmerica writes: I called my neurologist after the appt. and instead of waiting for 6 weeks for an appointment, they are going to try and get me in next week. That is because I am not on anything for pain right now since I could not take the neurontin.
Guest guest
, I just didn't understand why it was warmer. It almost always feels cold to me???? Is that chracteristic of RSD? It was only a few degrees difference. Sandy T. http://www.connecttime.net
Guest guest
, Well, hopefully you got 'em good too, because I certainly plan on trying. I have very good lawyers who are outraged at how I (a 23 year employee) has been treated. Try to have a pain-free day Sandy T. -- Re: Hi GuysThank you Lin! My lawyers are drooling indeed. It is a very long story butmy employer NEVER once talked with me about reasonable accommodations. Theyhave been trying to boot me out since I came back from leave. My lawyersaid I was just trying to help my self with the recording thing since theywouldn't help me (which is seriously the truth!) I am very sad about the RSD but so happy you are all here Sandy T. Guest guest
, That is what is happening to me now. My lawyer just got a letter today from my employer basically calling me a liar. It really hurts after 23 years. I'm more angry now and am right now in the process of filing discrimination papers with the state of PA against my employer. What jerks. I'm sure it all comes down to the almighty buck. Best of luck to you, Sandy T. -- Re: Sandy,Well, hopefully you got 'em good too, because I certainly plan on trying. Guest guest
Sandy T. Did your lawyer tell you how long a Discrimmination Case will take before it will finally get to court? When My Dad got fired because the new Regional Manager would only hire Women, and also planted money in a place that only my Dad would be at (in his office because he was the Manager of a 24-hour Truck Stop), trying to say that my Dad was stealing the money.......My Dad went and talked to a Lawyer and found out that just for the Discrimmination Case to get to Court would be 10 years min. He did win his Case against the Company for his Severence Package.....he worked for them for 15 years, and they tried to keep everything, including his 401K money. Not a good way to treat someone they Hired on as a Manager, that was on call for over 15 years 24 hours a day......and I don't know how many times he had to work from 10 pm until 3 pm the next day because his Graveyard shift worker would be sick or had a doctor's appointment the next day and needed to get some extra sleep in, and he would let her leave 4-5 hours early. He would leave our house at 3:15am every morning, get to work and do all of the paperwork before 6am, and then work until 3 or 4 pm.......day in, day out......and sometimes on Sunday. Saturday Mornings were saved for his weekly paperwork. Even during the winter, he never missed a day of work unless it was for a death in the family. Every morning, the State Snow Plows would sit and wait on the Interstate, off the side of the road, let my dad get in the middle of them......2 in front, one on the side, unless there was more traffic than usual, and then they would go 1 in front, 1 on the side, and 1 behind him so that no one could run into him from behind.........every single year. To pay them back, he would give them free coffee in the morning
