Guest guest Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 Hi Carol, I would call your doctor and ask them what is best for you. They know your histroy much better than we do here. Muscle relaxants help to some extent and the physical therapy really helps. Could liquid pain narcotics be the key? I know liquid tylenol is not enough pain relief. At a few points I was feeling like an addict because I felt like (but did not do) taking more of the pills than perscribed to feel better. I do have an addict personality, but have been following my 12 steps etc. Would asking my doctor to perscribe my pain medications in a liquid form help the pain? The medication should work as per my surgeon. Thank you for any feedback or ideas. I'm not asking for medical advice but just opinions and experience. Thank you so much for your time. Guest guest Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 I take Percoset for my sciatic pain and old back and leg injuries. I don't know if it comes in liquid form, but I will certainly ask when the time comes. I only take it if the pain is very bad.
