Guest guest
Galen, Now that Charley has made a more NE wobble your situation has improved greatly. That includes us too, but now the bulls eye is Sarasota, Venice area which as you know is south of us. This means winds around 60 mph and rains for us but for Sarasota and Ft Myers is around 145 or 160 mph if this increases to category 5. God bless those people, happy that this has taken the pressure of us a little but don't like that it has been passed to others. These storms are so unpredictable no body know until the last hour where it will hit. Kathi & Ed hope your new place holds up.......................Flora

Guest guest
Yeah, it looks like I'm gonna get to be on the west side of the storm, instead of getting a direct hit. If you have a choice of sides, that's the side to be on. Looks like Disney World is gonna get nailed. >Galen, Now that Charley has made a more NE wobble your situation has >improved greatly. Guest guest
I contemplated (briefly) heading towards Orlando. That was one of the things that made me decide against it. If you can't tell where the storm is going, you can't tell where you are going to be safe, unless you get out of the area entirely. Orlando is already getting some grief, as far as the weather goes. >Galen, your right, that area is going to get it also.
