Hey woman! I am so sorry about your poopie diagnosis, but you sound like you

are handling the news very well. Thank God it is slow-progressing ALS. I do

want you to stick around this group & keep posting, and hang with us, OK? I

agree with your decision to not tell " MOM " about the ALS. I dont' think I would

tell my mom either.

Here's what I would do if I were in your shoes. I'd start doing all those

things I'd ever thought might be kind of fun. Like, swim with dolphins &

whales, jump out of an airplane (parachuted, of course), go deep sea fishing,

kayak in Canada, snorkle & scuba the Great Barrier Reef, go to Africa, Alaska,

Aruba, India, and Crete, for starters. The list is endless. Think positive,

laugh & hug a lot, and do all that you can!! Take care & God Bless!
