Fremont Surgery Scheduling

Hi there,

I have been approved for my surgery through the Fremont clinic. I

was told once I lost my 10%, I would be scheduled for surgery within

a month of the total loss. I am now at that goal (I lost 30 lbs.).

I have called Phippin twice within the past week to inform her

of my total weight loss and request a surgery date. So far she hasn'

called back yet. Last night, I attended a support group meeting in

Elk Grove, CA and two of the ladies in attendance heard from other

Fremont patients that it would be at LEAST a 4 to 5 month wait for

surgery. Has anybody else heard this? I called again today

and expressed my concerns. I have completely changed my lifestyle

(as they requested) and I even turned down a promotional opportunity

at work because I anticipated having my surgery before the New Year.

The thought of having to wait another 5 months after waiting for

almost two years for this surgery is unbearable. If anyone has any

positive news or advice on pursuing the surgery date, please share.

I am hoping that has good news but is just too busy to call
