Guest guest
, I did not answer your post before, figuring there were many more experienced people out there. I do not eat nuts, eggs, dried beans, squash, chicken, spices, etc etc etc. I only eat 8 kinds 0f veggies -(romaine lettuce, carrot, green beans, celery, spinach, avocado, olives, & artichokes). I do eat the yogurt (one half to one cup a day) and that is my primary carbs unless you count carrots Yes I'm bored but I was bored with my food before SCD. The only fruits I can eat are bananas and grapefruit but I am not eating them because the aggravate my yeast symptoms. Yup, I eat a lot of veggies and meat. I think it's great your kids can do the squashes. I can do the green beans, can you? You can email me if you want-maybe I can help, Bonnie > i posted this question once before and got no direct response.

Guest guest
Hi -- I'm in a tight spot with my Brett who is dairy, egg, and nut-free. It is quite a dilemma, but would love to speak with you. I have found SCD extremely helpful with what we can do, and it has successfully healed Brett's gut, but we continue to have extreme esophogitis issues. Please e-mail me at cox5167@... and we can connect. All my best. , Mom to Brett, 5 yo, ASD, SCD 11 mths
Guest guest
, I'm not sure how to advise you. It does seem like you have a difficult problem on your hands and I think you might need some specialized help..... we're all kinda stumped so that may be why you didn't get an immediate response. I know there are families who've successfully done no dairy, eggs or nuts. There's one mom in particular that I'm thinking of...... but she's not on this list anymore. Would you want me to dig up some posts from her? Patti, mom to Katera anyone diary free, egg free, nut free and well on this diet?? i posted this question once before and got no direct response. i can not continue on this diet for my two young children unless someone can tell me they are able to make this work. they are also have low blood sugar so the fruit is not working blood sugar wise. the docs now think they have some kind of metabolic disorder because they are not able to process the fruit and sugar like carbs and never have been to in three years. once again they are surviving on tons of veggies and meat protien. now i can't stop the pasty poops and diareaha. lisa mother of eliza 5 and half celiac, scd 6 months jesse 3 and half scd corn free, soy free, diary free, sugar free, gluten free For information on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, please read the book _Breaking the Vicious Cycle_ by Elaine Gottschall and read the following websites: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info and http://www.pecanbread.com
