This might be a longshot, but it sounds sort of like those things you give a

baby when s/he's teething. You keep them in the fridge and then the baby can

gum it to relieve the pain. Maybe check the baby section?

I mentioned a reusable gel pack that can be frozen and placed on the

back of your neck. I found it at Long's (No. California) and it sells

for $2.99. Also, there was a cloth and velcro holder for a pack like

this for use during exercise. I didn't mention this, but another

person did. I wish I could remember who it was. I was interested in

buying it myself.

There is a similar reusable gel pack called " Ace reusable cold compress "

which is in most drug stores and Wal-Mart for about the same price, and

works great on the back of the neck. I haven't checked to see if Ace sells a

cloth/velcro holder. One option is to wrap the gel pack inside a small towel

while exercising, which keeps it cold longer. Jim

Hi,

I purchased one of these ties last summer and loved it! It really helped

keep me cool and didn't make my shirt feel damp, like other brands I've

tried. It was called a " Cobber. " The address for the company is:

http://www.rockisland.com/cobber .

I remember the e-mail. I looked to see if I kept it, but I did not. Maybe

it is on the rosacea site with all the messages. I think you can sort by

topic there.

The Sharper Image has a neck item that you wear around you neck to cool you.

It is about $30-$40, I think. Go to their web site - it still may be there.

Gel Beads to Cool you down?
