Guest guest
a, you should definately speak with your gyn about this topic. My sister in law had just had her second baby and was on the pill. She began taking an antibiotic (I don't know which one) and became pregnant again; she was overwhelmed. The doctor said that the antibiotic knocked out the effect of the pill. But, the kicker was that she was now carrying naturally conceived triplets!...or was that from the combination of the pill and the antibiotics! Her triplets are three boys; two of which are identical twins. The triplets were born 13 months after her daughter and 30 months after her oldest son. 5 kids under age 3. .....Just a warning....K. Guest guest
Tetracycline will often negate the effects of a birth control pill, and doctors and pharmacists sometimes forget to tell women this when they give them tetracycline pills.
