a, you should definately speak with your gyn about this topic. My sister

in law had just had her second baby and was on the pill. She began taking an

antibiotic (I don't know which one) and became pregnant again; she was

overwhelmed.The doctor said that the antibiotic knocked out the effect of the

pill.

But, the kicker was that she was now carrying naturally conceived

triplets!...or was that from the combination of the pill and the antibiotics!

Her triplets are three boys; two of which are identical twins. The

triplets were born 13 months after her daughter and 30 months after her

oldest son. 5 kids under age 3. .....Just a warning....K.

Tetracycline will often negate the effects of a birth control pill, and

doctors and pharmacists sometimes forget to tell women this when they give

them tetracycline pills.
