1) First of all, what is the CYTOMEL for for?

Also, I don't think I have EVER had a slow heart rate,(fast at times, if

anything) and yet I still have the other signs of hypo. Does this follow

suit with plain old hypothyroidism, or is something else definitley going on

here? I don't get cold either, only have severe heat intolerence.

I am on 3 1/4 grains my temps are up to about 97.8.

I am still trying to up my thyroid. Should I be doing this even though my

heart rate is around 78 at rest?

How long have you been on that dosage?

I went up form 2 to 3 grains in the beginning of September. Just upped it to

3 1/4 about 3 days ago.

I would stay at that dosage at least 4 weeks before increasing any more. As you

get near your optimal dosage you need to go much slower on increases so you

don;t go past it and actually go hyper. With your temp & heart rate that high, I

would stay right where you are and see if after a few weeks your heart rate

doesn;t slow. If it does not you probably shouldn't go much higher.
