Guest guest
I just saw Dr. Baggs for my 6 week post op appointment. I'm down 32 pounds by Kaiser's scale (34 by mine) My weight is 248 down from the 280 of surgery day. I asked Dr Baggs how I was doing, if I was in the normal range of weight loss for being 6 weeks out and he said that I was a bit slow. He expected to see me in the 230's by now. I think my weightloss is a case of " your milage may vary " . He did say that he thinks my goal of 150 is very reasonable and that I might even get below that. Not sure I want to be below 150... I looked kinda scarecrow-ish last time I weighed even close to 140...20+ years ago. I have been eating and weighting my tid bits of food by the book or rather the scale :-) I've just started back to Curves this week and I'm pleased with my progress. I've had to take my pants in. My t-shirts hang on me, I'm wearing jewelery that I haven't been able to wear in YEARS and my skin... WOW my skin looks fantastic! Anyway, thanks for the vent Kerre 10/25/04 RNY Dr Baggs 314/280/
