Guest guest
Lainie, Beans are much more difficult to digest and are not usually introduced until about 6 months into the diet or until after all GI symptoms have gone away. At 3 weeks into the diet, it is too early for beans. Jody mom to -5 and -7 SCD 18 months

Guest guest
Thanks Carol. I did follow all the directions for making the beans except for waiting 6 months. I truly believe my daughter isn't going through withdrawl but is just not getting what she needs from the food I'm giving her. It's not the carbohydrate number but the kind of carbs. I thought, probably wrongfully so, if I could give her something more substantial (beans), she would feel more satisfied. I guess I jumped the gun.
