Hi - it's Leonie here. I have been trying chicken cartlage too (collagen

II) which I have to order from the US. One of the things it is supposed to

do, is re-instruct your body not to attack your joints, through oral

tolerisation of the product. The collagen in it is the same material as

your joints, so if you ingest it, your body wont attack it as it doesnt

think it is a part of you and then maybe it will stop attacking your joints

(sorry, this is a poor explanation). Has anyone else had any results with

this product? I havent been taking it long enough to notice any

difference..... Leonie

rheumatic UC II

:

I have been on this as part of study at Beth Israel for 2.5 months now with

excellent results. It is a double blind study so I have no clue what dosage

I

am on. It is a 4 month study. What I can say is that the study info I got

states it is sponsored by a company that mfrs. this which is available. I

will

include links on that (have not ordered myself as the study pays for all at

this time), and info on the study itself.

I store it in fridge. I am to take it on empty stomache first thing in a.m.

with a sip of water and NO FOOD, DRINK OR SMOKE FOR AT LEAST 20 MINUTES.

That's all I know except, most importantly, it is working really well for

ME.

Hope this helps.

Hi Babs;

You can use the analogy " Hair of the

dog " I suppose.Since I have never gotten

drunk enough to have a hanover I do not

know if a drink next morning would set

one straight.Kind of doubt it but maybe

collagen works that way. Lynne
